For an exposed Florida pool deck, “epoxy vs. polyaspartic” is really a question about the complete resin system. Epoxy is commonly used as a primer or body coat because of its adhesion and build. Polyaspartic is commonly chosen as an exposed topcoat when faster cure and UV/color stability are important.

Why epoxy still shows up in outdoor systems

  • Can the system be repaired/recoated later without complete removal?
